On a day that Riko was visiting her mother back in Kyoto she ended up doing some late-night research. However, Riko has a tendency to overwork herself. Rosaria came in to check on her and found Riko passed out at the kotatsu. Rosaria being the good mother she is brought out a blanket from a nearby cupboard and placed it over her daughter. Before leaving she dimmed the nearby oil lamp and gave Riko a kiss on the forehead.
