Thanks so much! Some of my winged mutants have the ribbed bat/demon wings! I think they're more unique than feathery wings, and far less frustrating to draw, so it's a win-win.
For as good-natured as Jacques is, when I first designed him, he was actually meant to be some sort of demon. A friendly demon, but still, a demon. He's probably responsible for at least a handful of reported sightings of the Jersey Devil in his area--whether that's because he's being a prankster, or because he does occasionally get drunk and that might wind up in him running around in the woods at 3am whooping and hollering because he's wasted, though, is unclear...
