Haha, nice! Your vampires should get together with my vampires, they could have a party and discuss tentacle-pruning.
I like the skinless idea quite a bit. Did you ever see Fright Night 2? There were a couple of vampires in that who had their skin ripped off, and it was a really spectacular effect (they had an insanely-skinny woman playing the flayed vampire). These fella look like the bastard spawn of those, and the thing from that John Carpenter movie. Awesome!
See, the vampires I grew up with were Count Duckula, Grandpa Munster and the ones on Scooby Doo and so on. To me, a vampire is a green-skinned dude in a cape with a Borscht Belt accent.
