Didn't see that one coming, did you? It is indeed me, everybody's favorite shaman, drawn for the very first time as a feral wolf. This is by no means just an experiment derived from a touch of curiousity; there is a greater purpose behind it which is connected with my novel. In accordance with the lore I've invented for "Medieval Cohesion", greatly experienced shamans and druids from Niévahna who have proven their devotion to Gaia will one day be able to become one with nature through metamorphosis. They gain the ability to revert their bodies to a previous state of evolution and exploit the benefits of being feral like in the ancient past. I have incorporated it as a part of my plan for my novel that I will one day, in a late chapter not yet written, be able undergo this transformation myself. The feral form is not just for appearence, I'll have you know, the ability to shift form will prove useful in battle. I will be unable to wield my magic as a feral wolf and I cannot parry attacks, but my increased agility and swiftness will render me far more evasive which is practical for tactical retreats. As a arcane spellcaster, it is not ideal for me to engage in melee combat and this metamorphosis is bound to make it much harder for enemies to corner me on the battlefield.
