Shes one of my DND characters

Villows "parents" were once adventures, who created havoc across the lands to the west (or where ever u want them to be known in)
They raided a kobold next, and after destroying all the kobolds they took the loot back to their strong hold, only to find they accidentally took an egg with them.
The egg ended up hatching and the couple became infatuated with the child. Calling her their own and spoiling her to high heaven (kinda like someone would with a purse dog)

They had the itch to go adventuring again and kinda let loose the terror of Villy on the world. The adorable self-proclaimed princess "dragon" they created
