A light at the end of a dark tunnel
Eclair somehow survived the events of the previous night (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/37935233/) but she didn't get out of it unscaved. The fear and stress induced by the shadow creatures left her exhausted and shaken up.
She told everything to Nanna Grumch who was able to provide her with something useful: a special candle.
Said candle was made with special ingredients that were also blessed by the local cleric and has the property of repeling evil creatures, especially the undead. Items like this were often used by the clergy during exorcisms and funeral rites and Ol'Nanna Grumch serves as their main manufacturer. She also promissed to teach Eclair how to make them as they might come in handy in the future.
Seems like things are looking up for the young drow.
