;_; I know I already fawned over this in discord but I'm doin it again! This has such a profoundly deep meaning to me and continues to bring tears to my eyes. I watched The Neverending story repeatedly through my years, and when I created Misfit when I was 8 years old I had such a strong desire to see her in the pose of the Southern Oracle.

You did a phenomenal job on this. The blend between tribal and regular art is stunning and your work with the beautiful background, all those colors, the glow, the composition of the piece just takes my breath away! ;_; <3

I just love the composition of this piece. I love the fact that he did half tribal have regular art. It has such a deep symbolic meaning to me in a way I am unsure I can fully express. My early years I fell in love with fantasy. I created Misfit when I was so young, and I began drawing. I went through hell in my childhood, in my teenage and adult life. It was a serious struggle. And then in 2015 I started drawing again. But not the traditional art I began with, it was the tribal art that I worked hard to get better at. This piece is PROFOUNDLY symbolic. Both in the beautiful childhood nostalgia as well as a literal VISUAL representation of my growth from child to adult. It is all right there. The colored half of Misfit, her birth, her creation, her growth all the way into the tribal half. She has been with me through ALL of it, all of my life. My struggles. My art, my ups and downs. She is my guardian, she IS my Oracle. Any time I feel myself slipping in one way or another I can look at my girl Misfit who has been with me for over TWO DECADES and she puts me back on the right path again.

Seriously finding the words to describe how much you nailed this image right on the head is insanely hard.

It will have been 24 years since Misfit's creation next year towards the end of february. That is an insanely long time to have a character stick with you. Go ahead and check out Misfit's folder if you want some of the history behind her creation. Any piece of art no matter the skill level that is done of Misfit I cherish with every fiber of my being. The childlike wonder at seeing other people's interpretation of my darling girl never wanes.
