Yes...for probably less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, most editions of D&D and Pathfinder have an extreme dissonance with polymorph effects. At the same level you can PERMANENTLY polymorph a mighty dragon into a chicken and brainwash them into thinking they're a chicken, you can only turn someone into an elf or a wolf for a few minutes at most.
