Off on a nightly walk, an innocent, blue deergi is struck by a ruby of immense power, the ruby's call and glow smothers the poor canine, showing him visions of a future with him as its overlord, as it takes hold, corruption spreading though him as he becomes its mindless host, with an insatiable thirst for more minds, more obedience, more power!
As Duski's power grows, so does his influence, first a neighbourhood, then a town, a country, a country... So many devoted slaves under the gem's control, its power pulsing and growing, spreading across the land, with the United Kingdom certainly more united than ever before!
23 Fighters are what stands between the whole world and total domination, strong willed and well versed in mental manipulation, they are our only chance, but are all of their intentions pure?

There is alot of unskippable cutscenes, but the plot is very important, I assure you~
The story receives considerably high praise and makes players quite invested, you may find you simply have to get to the end...
