This is my second YCH commission drawn by the awesome CodyMcDowd. Seeing as I and others loved the first one so much, I couldn't resist requesting another. It's my duck OC Paige who (like Kimberly) has been away on vacation and decided to send a postcard with her photo. Despite already being a big girl in her own right, Paige has been indulging in large, rich meals every day and has ballooned into an ENORMOUS BLUBBER DUCKY! You won't hear her complaining, though. ^_^
Another valiant effort on the artist's part by managing to give Paige that cute/sexy vibe in spite of becoming a MONSTROUS BLIMP! It's doubly humorous and somewhat appropriate given she was already tubby. For the record, while Paige is still canonically a fat chick, her size here is not. That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to her being this massive in the future. Rock on, chunky butt! XD

Oh yeah. Paige is loving her new body. ^_^
Truth be told, she used to be a skinny character, but I partook in a role play in which she ballooned up, and decided to make her tubby body canon seeing as people wanted to see her fattened up, and I quite enjoyed the new design. Plus, in continuity, she came to love being fat. I think it's given her more of an identity as her own character.

Well, there was a lot more to that story; however, in that RP, Paige literally ballooned up overnight. I prefer to keep my canon world more realistic. So, it wasn't so much how Paige got fat that I decided to canonize, as the results. I have one drawing that suggests she put on the weight during the winter months. It was originally going to be a one-off, but I realized how much I liked the design. I drew another piece with a rear shot of Paige declaring that she liked herself that way, and then an Easter themed pic where she was presenting treats alongside my rabbit OC Leslie. I received a lot of positive feedback, and decided to do a poll on which design my watchers preferred. I got fifteen votes, and fat Paige won nine to six. By that point I had already decided to keep Paige that way, but I wanted to make sure the majority of my watchers agreed, and they did. That being said, I have no intention of returning Paige to her original skinny self. I just think she looks better as a fat chick, and she's honestly a lot more fun to draw that way. She also feels like a more fully realized character who stands out amongst my VERY large cast of OCs. I wouldn't be opposed to having Paige appear at this size again at some point, but the more realistically tubby version is her default moving forward.
(Note: Paige speaks with a Bostonian accent. "Eithah" is how she pronounces "either".)

(Oh, you mean her weight has increased to the point she's actually grown taller as she becomes fatter? Yeah, that happened to my squirrel OC Gwen in her WG series I commissioned. I guess you could argue that Paige has grown taller given the hundreds of pounds she's put on, especially seeing as she does appear to be pretty tall here, despite her otherwise diminutive stature. Not sure what you mean by "8, 60". Is that supposed to be 8 feet 6 inches?)
