And here it is guys, the very last page for Wishes 2 :) I know there was a dog on the roof too, but let's just say he got mad and left because he had to do work with these two imbeciles :D
Anyway, another comic came to an end. I know the story for this one wasn't too much, but we really wanted to make a comic about their very first steps on the way to their new life. And we planned this as a very short and simple comic. This time we wanted something a bit more simple than Prophecy was.
But don't be sad if you think you'll miss them, because Shani and Darnell will return ;)

If he's a really good lockpick, he actually should have a good headstart on learning to make them. Any good lockpick would also be collecting practice locks and disassembling them to see how they work. And knowing how it works is a good start to learning how to make them. It would be a cute bit of parallelism to have him turn one of his criminal background skills into a positive profession.
Okay i LOVE that mayor! XD He is such a nice guy and not the classic snob you usually expect in that position. Even the fact that he is working on the roof too is a big "like" for him.
But seriously, i will never understand how you can hit your own finger with a hammer. I never managed to do that in my whole life. XD
And i absolutely cant wait to see more of those two!

Thank you once again for making these great comics and characters, Viktria! The dialogue could be a little better-worded in some spots to make more sense, but your artwork's gorgeous and you manage to put such life into the characters that you draw!
By the way, you could say that the dog left to get more bandages or some kind of splint for Darnell's finger (not sure if he broke it or not). Also, everyone suggests that Darnell takes up being a locksmith. While I definitely agree that I could see him doing that, I also can't help but wonder if he could become a great fisherman. The guy caught a huge fish in the first part of this chapter with his own two hands! That takes some real skill!
Finally, I'd like to say that I love how giddy you made Shani look in the second panel! I don't know what profession she could try out for, if any, but maybe she could be a cook. It would be a way for her to use her fire-starting magic and I think that Darnell was being rather sincere when he told her that her stew/soup was good even though it got boiled to a pulp.
