FARADAY CAGEEEEEEE. This makes me wanna go gigging really badly. This weekend just gone I was actually supposed to be playing at a four day punk festival. But obviously COVID messed up those plans, plus being a bank holiday it was also obviously tipping down with rain so like camping in that gets kinda dire kinda quickly. Have you ever tried to look presentable and play a 45 min set up on stage after 3 nights of camping and heavy drinking...No? Well I have LOL.
Anyway band members are from left to right...
This is Martins crew.
That whole bit about secretly being a poet with a band....That's pretty much how I feel about my music. I'm not really a singer/musician but I can put music to my poetry and people then think I know what I'm doing HAHAHA.
In real life my husband (everyone knows artin is based off my husband...right...) My husband hasnt got a musical bone in his body hahah, but whenever we go to gigs that Im booked to play, people always assume its him thats the performer, not me because he has the crazy old skool punk look to him and I....I'm pretty far from that image hahah. They always ask him "what instrument do you play? " And he's like..."OOh I cant play an instrument I just play the fool" I have lost count how many times Ive heard him say that.

Nice band name, too. I guess they want to block outside sources and do their own thing within their group, yeah?
(yeah, my brain's going weird places. I can never let my characters be happy for too long, though I seem to be managing the goodfeels for some of my current stories)

Its almost a refreshing pallet cleanser to see Star so much more comfortable being talked down to and looked after by Martin, someone she likes and is comfortable with, after watching her have to go through the same things in a forced and uncomfortable setting with Matt, to the point that it made her literally sick. Those were rough pages, this is so nice and wholesome <3
I am probably wrong with this one though...... but I think that Martin's day job is a daycare worker or a babysitter, but I am probably wrong, lol.
Either way. Thanks for posting this page. Your pages are always super awesome, cute, and funny, and always makes my day better. I hope that you are having a good day and I cannot wait to see your next pages and drawings. ^^

I didn't know you were in a band, though. That's so cool! Do you do synth punk as well or a different genre? Anywhere online we can hear it?
I'm going to enjoy contemplating Martin's possible occupations until we find out, assuming we eventually will. He's got more than a hint of mystery about him. :)
