Foxes man. They are the master species of the Furry Community. Krystal, Maid Marian, Carmelita Fox, Renamon, Fox McCloud, Nick Wilde, Finnick...they’re responsible for more Furries than any other animal.

Is true that the innate sexyness of foxes give that the advantage as well as being the first ones, but buns were always close second, Lola had been responsible for as many Furry conversion as Renamon, and now their number had reached the same number as Foxis at this point(ThNk expeccially to Judy Hopps, who is really as popular as Nick and in my opinion helped spread the bunnytude in the world...if you noticed after Zootopia there had been a growth of Hot Buns in pop culture) granted before Zootopia the real contender for Foxis were Catgirls, whose staying power cannot be understimated. And yet murine races are always in the corner, popping out when you least expect it. Good doggos are sadly underrepresented, while wolves get absolutely no love. Scalies and Birbs are a minorance that is stubborn and very close together, while Dargons are a thing by themselves, but have not much of fictional representation, same as Wolves. Interestingly there had been a recent movement for Yeeen appreciation, in part thank to the spread of ehtologist and nature expert knowledge about how Hyenas are NOT monster but merely a predator on same level as lions....
