Notes: These are from my first sketchbook. Lots of dragons. Took my first art class.
❃ I'm currently on a mission--organizing my very old artwork!
And I will be posting as much as I can, slowly working my way through the years.
It's just something I personally want to do, even if it's not interesting to anyone else,
I still want others to see my early art journey :)
❃ This is the year I took my first art class. I didn't take another art class till College many years later.
The class introduced me to a lot of the terminology of art, like gesture drawing, subforms, positive/negative space, overdrawing, things like that.
It's where I learned you can use pens to draw over your pencil sketch (line-art), and I learned about patterns, shading, dimensional shapes.
