I know. Yet even with pivots the problem of a rather large suspended middle-section remains. Imagine driving over a sharp ridge with that. Front and rear may clear it just fine, but the middle section would hit the ridge in between the propulsion sections. On a railway line this is not much of a problem thanks to the terrain being largely flattened when the tracks are laid. A rover, however, is going out into untamed territory, which means this setup would potentially cause problems.
Don't get me wrong, I like the design, but I am pointing out some potential problems in term of practicality.

My assumption with this is that it is more of a heavy haulage tractor than for crossing really rough terrain. maybe with a smaller rover or two running ahead to pick out a route for it and a trailer or two.
I remember seeing a video with some old military vehicles doing a off road course. the managed to bottom out a Kraz 255 on one of the ridges and that would have a much shorter wheelbase than this machine.

The scouts sure do make sense - especially when they are equipped with a complete terrain mapping suite.
Perhaps make another picture with this beast in the center and its entourage around it? After all they'll be needing some accommodation as well. Given the silhouette next to it the interior space in this thing is a bit limited, so not suitable to accommodate a full-on expedition. Perhaps a mobile habitation crawler to go with it? after all it would give you another heavyweight to try and pry this thing free if it does bottom out for some reason or another. Redundancy is your friend -expecially when far away from means for repair and resupply.
Maybe something in the style of the Charkovchanka arctic expedition vehicles?

Yeah you would probably want to travel in pairs with a machine like this.
For the rovers something like a Sherp would do pretty well. Those things are just about unstoppable.
Maybe something like a Soviet Kharkovchanka arctic exploration vehicle for accommodation. They were 28ft long, 11ft wide and 13ft high. They had bunks for eight people with a small galley, oven and toilet.

Which is what I suggested, isn't it? You are probably going to need a larger vehicle than that though in order to accommodate additional oxygen tanks, storage for environmental suits, recycling waste and water, etc. Maybe take some design cues from Homeworld Deserts of Kharak? I mean, depending on the hostility of your setting you may even make that habitation vehicle into a full-on mobile fortress with the Crocs here serving as some sort of tugboat if necessary.
