The fusion of a Hattrem and a Riolu, this species has difficulties controlling their empathy powers. They are very sensitive to others emotions and may lash out with violent tantrums. They become emotionally dependent on anyone that can empathize with them and gain their trust.

Hatlu currently resides in the forests of an unspoken pokemon region. She is one of the many hybrids that inhabit this land, protected by those who live in it. Keeping the nature of its land secret from outsiders who may seek to harm or interfere with it's ecosystem.

She grew up in a tall tower, guarded by the creatures of the forest. Not only did they keep her hidden, but also locked in the tower and away from harming anything. Being deemed as a threat to the peace due to her power's instability, her mother commanded the forest's higher power to have her confined and monitored for it's safety. Assigning the task to the Zoroarks that inhabit the surroundings. As well as casting a spell on her to prevent her from potentially evolving.
Being trapped since a young age has left Hatlu lacking crucial social skills necessary to keep her emotions under control. Leading to growing complications in her struggle to keep her powers in check. Her Hat attempts to dull outside stimulation, but is not a reliable solution to her outbursts. If it's taken off, it results in an almost immediate explosive tantrum. Due to this, she is very hesitant to leave her dwelling, or interact with anyone she comes across.

Being given the chance to, however, she's found unlikely partnership in another Zoroark. Who has begun to encourage her to come out of her cage...
