Tenaru tend to come in any color, though they tend to favor more towards a muted hide color with brighter 'hair', which is often styled, braided, shaved, or cut into a wide variety of looks. In contrast most fashion tends to sit on one color/pattern range with minimal accent. They -can- stand on their hind-most legs, but only the front-most are actually dexterous enough to use.

Most Tenaru often posses a instinctual stubbornness and loud personalities, which is most likely caused by their evolutionary past of being a pursuit hunter and competing for territory and social power via use of physical prowess or preforming ability. Most cities are built far apart, with large open spaces to run and stretch their legs; vehicles are a rarity, any motorized vehicle is either made to carry a large capacity of individuals or is mostly powered by the individual itself, with a small motor to allow occasional rest during longer distances.

The individual pictured below is Tupelo Kasarkas'ment, a well known revolutionary that advocated -for- the side of the 'commons class' during the "Integrated Commune Trade Movement" (ICTM).

The most well known act of hers was the destruction of a memorial statue honoring a infamous cooperate family, after which she is often depicted holding a Green Sun] (citation needed) pennant, and a list of both crimes and demands.
This list was spoken by her and her comrades over the course of 172 hours while both revolutionaries and protestors fended off privately funded contractors. This act is popularly referred to as "The service of the Green Sun", and was a lynch-pin act during the years of the ICTM.
