Haha the Pikachu doesn't look soulless, though he does have a rather impish glint in his eye... I think he's intending to trip up the trainer. :P

I am so glad you think he looks impish, in fact, that is the best adjective for him. When I rp, I always call him an imp or describe him as being impish.

I don't think his arm looks too short,to be honest,maybe its just the choice of where it's bent,and the drape across it that makes it cut short in the mind,but honestly I feel it's accurate anatomy for your style/cartoon quality 8)

I have yet to try drawing any pokemon,I should D:>;;; pikachu's dark eyes would be rather hard to make vibrant and full of life,but I think with the help of the brow area and the rest of the facial expression you'll find a good balance that'll aid the eyes,great job on this<33
