A series of explosions rocked grim stone and metal of the Cathedral, deep below the ordained data centre burst into crimson, sending shock waves across the GodNet as millions of the faithful were disconnected from its digital grace. Outrunning the advancing wall of crimson destruction, the cygoyle burst out of the security door, rending it open with is metallic claws, his dark figure backlit by the hellfire from the building below.

In front of him, a squad of church police in their dark armor screamed in panic, firing off a series of rounds that smacked into the ancient stone of the buttresses. Zuki snarled, his green eyes shining and almost blinding the figures as he unfurls his wings and barrels into them, one claw gutting them as it slices through his armour, he grabs another and leaps from the side of the building, roaring. The fire reaches the armoury, another massive explosion that consumes the building like a million flaming snakes, bursting the stained glass and coiling up hungrily to light up the night.

The cyberpapalcy will remember this day.
