This Victreebel has a unique scent emanating from his bulb and mouth that can hypnotize any prey so he can more easily swallow it and more comfortably digest it alive. This hypnotic scent is sweet-smelling and gets more effective as the prey gets closer to the mouth and/or bulb on its vine. When close enough for the scent to be at its strongest, the prey cannot possibly break out of the hypnosis without being rescued from the Victreebel. Successfully hypnotized prey are rendered immobile and will never budge to being grabbed, eaten, and digested. When Maracti are hypnotized, they actually do their usual dance uncontrollably and continue to do so as they're eaten and digested until either death or exhaustion. When exhausted before dying from the victreebel's digestive acids, the prey maracti lax and rest inside the stomach, where they take their final nap. The Victreebel doesn't mid the scent making the Maracti dance since it loves the sound of their up-tempo songs of them dancing as well as feeling them dance inside his stomach. This is exactly why all Maracti, male or female, are his favorite prey. He doesn't even try to knock them out, unlike all other prey that haven't yet fallen for the hypnotic scent: he will always try to make them smell the scent so they can dance under the influence of the hypnosis so he can have a cencert for himself inside his stomach by them, whether it be one at a time or even if they're clumped together, doomed to be digested as all they can do is dance for him. Various Maracti that have know of him whether by rumors or by surviving an encounter with him know him by the name of Sonajero, the rattling devourer.
