As for this image:
After joining the PokéHeroes Guild, Valerie/GraviGirl befriended a veteran Braixen heroine and competitor: Bridget/Magma Carta. From that point on, their friendship only grew: With Valerie helping Bridget through the biggest episode of disillusionment and depression in her life, and Bridget returning the favor by rescuing and helping Valerie overcome her biggest, most costly defeat thus far by the hands of Queen Haze.

Deeming themselves inseparable, the ladies officialized themselves "The Vermillion Duo", and followed their careers and lives close to one another.
