So this is something I've been working on getting for a LONG time, like, a solid year, and now I finally get to upload it!
Behold -- a new character! One I came up with a while back and only recently had their ref finished (amongst other things) so I can finally show who this is. Firstly--yes, glowy colours are a given. Secondly--to information!
This is Meridias Hale, although they're most-commonly just known as Hale. Hale is a sort of partially-robotic space dragon-like species known as a Solarii, which are known for being capable of immense magical feats (but at a cost...) and Hale is, whilst perhaps not the most powerful thing to have ever existed, still nonetheless a force in their own right.
Hale as a character is a sort of nomadic space pirate; they are more-or-less just focus on exploring the vast expanses of the universe in search for anything interesting (adventures, treasures and whatnot) but most importantly explores for a sense of self; they don't remember where they came from, and their due in travelling stems from their desire to learn their origin -- where they came from, why they have the abilities they do ...... what happened to anybody else like themselves. Anything that happens along the way is just as important, as far as Hale cares.
Their appearance is pretty-much as they appear on the ref; predominantly a dark sort of granite/obsidian colour, with shapeshifting silver-platinum armour on various parts of their arms, legs and chest. Their horns and their wings are best described as being solid, hard-light-like constructs ... they don't touch their body, but they still somehow function like they should. How? Why? Because space magic, that's why. Also their eyes (and tongue) can change colour -- ordinarily they're green, but they can turn to a sort of reddish colour (usually when annoyed/angry, unsurprisingly. Seeing literal red is usually a sign you should perhaps skedaddle...
Also, despite me referring to them as 'they' throughout this reference, Hale tends to represent themselves (and refer to themselves) as female; just, due to the capability to shapeshift, they can appear as whatever gender they want or feel like (it just tends towards the female). Referring to them as 'she' is 99% of the time perfectly fine, as it's usually pretty obvious when it's different. x3
Buuuuuuut that's basically who this is! Super mysterious space dergy. Yep yep. Thank you for reading! uwu
