Slowly gaining in numbers are an outcast breed of Deriti known as Domestics. These Deriti are born in captivity and raised as pets to humans. They’re still somewhat Uncommon so typically there is only one per household that has them.
Domestics are much more primal creatures, only having the general intelligence of a very smart dog. Generations of conditioning and inbreeding have led to them being this way from birth. All other tribes either pity or detest them as the first Domestics were not captured, but instead chose to lead a lazy life being dependent on humans. The other tribes see this as willfully giving up their pride and honor.
Common traits for Domestic Deriti are the more fluffy and cute traits such as shorter manes and fluffier ears and fur. They’re the most likely to have paws or smaller dainty hooves, though the hooves are also found rarely in Gaistori Deriti, and humans managed to mutate a select few to have more bat-like wings.
Magic is very weak in Domestic Deriti due to the aforementioned inbreeding. At best they can have weak elemental abilities equaling a tiny flame or a ball of water akin to a water balloon. Most commonly they have Telekinetic abilities, though even then lifting more than a couple heavy books is a major feat.
