I just upgraded my "Recipe" for a quick pesto.
While I boil my pasta, this time, frozen ravioli, I added the following to the bowl you see
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp parmesan cheese
2tbsp dried basil
1tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp dried rosemary
stir to combine, microwave for 30 seconds, stir, microwave another. once the pasta is boiled and drained, fold gently in the sauce in the pasta bowl to combine,
Look this won't win you any Michelin stars, but if you love pesto, but it's expensive, needs to be chilled...etc...you'll find alternatives.
This...just about scratches that pesto itch.
