Some unforeseen delays had caused me to cut short posting my photos from MFM 2016, before other cons hit and things shifted to those.

Smaller cons tend to feel more like a family, where attendees and staff are generally familiar with one another.
This leads to their being more respect for the con as well as an understanding of what the staff goes through to make the con fun for everyone. So, the ball pit is treated well and everyone has a good time.
Larger cons have a greater chance of having a few people who don't care about anyone else or the con property, such as a ball pit, and they ruin it for everyone.
