First-draft concepts for the protagonists of a comic idea I'm working on featuring, well, Knife and his friends, and the shenanigans they get up to.

'Knife' is a Goblin - one of many 'monster' races that have been emboldened by the newly crowned King's attempt to broker peace. He has heroic aspirations far beyond his small stature, and dreams of one day seeing a statue in honor of his escapades in every town across the land!

Skitterscale is a Kobold, and despite losing her tail to Human poachers, getting her ear permanently marked by a Human slaver, and generally being mistreated and judged ill by Humans, absolutely adores (to the point of lust, often enough) Humans and all they do.

Wendel (Orc name; Rengar) swears he's technically a Half-Orc - although where that half is hiding in his lineage is anyone's guess. He is remarkably well-spoken for an Orc, however, and he attributes that to his Human blood. He's also a pretty competent weaver of magic.
