Shot of a wolf spider. First cool thing we found herp'ing the other day. Ended up finding a black snake and a salamander but I do love wolf spiders. Shot with a flash light as the light source.

wolf spiders can make Lovely pets. at least for a little while. I kept one for a few months. after i think three days (maybe four) she figured out that my hand coming towards the terrarium meant food and would jump up and take it from my hand sometimes. but she would get excited when she saw my hand coming towards her after she figured out i was not only nothing harmful but the food god. :) she was wonderful. i wish i had had a camera back then.
