What I remember most about the eighties is the commercials.

Yeah, the 80's didn't hold back. Was a wild decade... though sometimes a bit too wild. ^_^ The 90's brought Grunge and all it's "let's dumb everything down even further." baggage. blah. That and even worse mislabeling of metal. Gah! My pet peeve is all those mislabeling. Call it what it what it is for crying out loud. Sorry for the mini-rant. :/

Not the mainstream stuff... then again, that's true of most mainstream anyway. :p Although some gems popped (heh, "pop", don't you get it? nevermind.) here and there. The underground in the 80's totally ruled. The 90's output was flat until the later part of the decade.

While I wouldn't say that I "loved" the 80s, I do miss it. Good look there. It does remind me of the 80s. ^^

yer missing ONE detail. If that's the 80's why can I look at the colors, then look up and not see their opposites? Every article of clothing and background art was BLINDINGLY neon - but I guess I could consider that "Artistic license of mercy" ^_^

Seeings Wai probably got those clothes from a retro second hand shop, all the colours have faded a bit.

Besides, I haven't worked out how to do flurecent colours in Photoshop yet.

The 80s were big on muted primarys too.

There is nothing scruffy about her. She has had her hair permed. And as such its very hard to draw, I haven't quite worked out a way of doing it stylised yet but I think it turned out rather nicely.

I meant the rest of her, maybe there wasn't as much.. erm... surface area.. of her for fur, she seemed much smoother back when ^_^;

as a child of the late 80s with the mentality of something far earlier....more or less 50s-90s i guess....i must say that the 80s was the best for music and fashions -has over a grand worth of 80s clothing and a little more money's worth of clothes from earlier eras- it's not hip....it's not hap....it's not exactly now for some reason....but it's just my style ^^

Poor, poor parents... I'm willing to bet that Wai only needs to come down looking like that once, and 'dad' will be all "You're grounded until you're thirty." ;D

Ahh! I am the same as Wai XD My mom was young when she had me so even though I was born in the late 80's I am still an 80's child. Boy do I miss those clothes. Don't miss all the trouble to do the hair though haha,
