Here's something I was stupid enough not to realize until someone explained it to me.
The fact that someone, somewhere, had it worse, the fact that someone hurt more, did not mean that I hurt less.

Pain is pain. If one admits one has been hurt- however much, however little- maybe that gives the strength to stand up to it. Maybe that gives one the strength to be there for others who have been hurt, whether more than us, whether less than us.

I don't know. But I do know that if you hide from yourself, if you refuse to try to be something, then you are trying to be nothing. That never ends well.

Great art style and very emotional content. It was painfully familiar. Balance, there should be a place in life for everything, and for pain, and for struggle, and for rage. The main thing is that all this does not devour you entirely, and here sometimes someone's help is needed.
