Oh... the names of the characters were just my own with a squint of the eye towards Bob Hope and the Professor. On youtube, you can still watch the old cartoons from the 40's and 50's, which would never make it in today's woke era. Facebook has already announced a hate algorithm that will automatically delete bad/negative entries - and there you go, total censure of things deemed 'not cool' by those in charge... And so you have the same struggle historically prevalent in all societies through all time.

I was only a couple of sentences into the dialogue and suddenly I'm hearing them in Abbot & Costello's voices. Good work, Vix. I haven't thought of Bud and Lou in many a moon.

I have always loved those guys... that was back when comedy was fresh, honest, and entertaining for the entire family...

I remember seeing Red Skelton express his dissatisfaction with the 'new' comedy which was all cursing. He said he never used bad language, and it was true... and he was one of the funniest people on earth...

The professor's got the lungs himself, and all the eccentricities to go with 'em. It all flows together so naturally and the comic timing is perfectly on the mark, Miss V.
