So I've recently been binging a historical dress making channel and decided to fix up Erasea's design a bit to be more historically curate and learned a lot throughout the process about the fashion and manufacturing techniques of the time.
First she puts on her chemise which is just a plain light white undergarment dress which she probably also wears to bed. Next white stockings that are tied in place around the knee with a strip of red fabric and a pair of bodies which is basically a predecessor to corsets but unlike a modern corset it laces up the front, is longer and has shoulder straps. Then we have a plain red form fit dress that goes up to the neck and buttons under the wrist and behind the neck. Then the black dress over top with a low cut square neckline trimmed with gold, slit skirt and sleeves, slight shoulder puffs and patterned bodice. Then we finish it all of with a nice pair of shoes, neck ruffles, golden gurtle, rings and her signature rosary.
Some aspects of her outfit would be uncommon or slightly outdated for the time the story is set in. Her gurtle would be a little vintage for the time to my understanding but not that out of place though a solid gold one like that would definitely be an expensive status symbol. The biggest standout is probably her hair. Wearing your hair down like that was almost unheard of as far as I can tell and would probably seem a bit wild and childish. Although the hair could also be a total flex given maintaining long hair like that was a lot harder to do at the time part of the reason for wearing it up was that it made it easier to keep it clean, if she's wearing it down like that all the time she's gotta be putting a lot of work into washing and brushing and probably washing it more often then most people. So the hair was be something that may get her some judgey looks but also it would take some serious work and confidence to pull that off like she does.
