karishad has had to go through an awful lot the last couple years, and 
rickgriffin and myself are among the very few who have really stuck with him the whole time and offered him meaningful support. I'll kind of just leave it at that so I don't launch into a rant. But he's still a sweetheart, always there for us when we're down even though he's down a lot himself, and he deserves better than the hand he's been dealt. I would like to think a casual palaver in a serene setting like this could happen in a world that was more... convenient. :)
lando has done another really amazing piece of work here. I love the cute characters but wow, backgrounds as always are where he really shines. The play of light through the mist, like a dawn cathedral, and the river and the distant trees and everything, all set an awesome mood for this picture. In the unlikely event you're not watching him already, you should correct that oversight immediately. ^.^

This image is quite beautiful as a piece of art, but the factor that really draws me in, makes me look at it again and again, is its beauty as a symbol. This stands, in my own mind, as a representation of your friendship more than anything. And not just any friendship, but the ideal friendship. The sort of relationship that everybody hopes for when they meet a person, the kind that so very many people completely lack, the kind of selfless love that is so hard to find in everyday life.
