no but u dont. playing the games isnt enough to know the full deal. Mecha Sonic is not Metal Sonic. similar yes but not equal. Metal Sonic has an AI chip, meaning it can learn. Mecha was operated completely on programming with no way of learning on its own. Mecha Sonic was the last of the MECHA/SILVER Sonic robots before Eggman began the METAL series, consisting of Metal Sonic, Metal Knuckles, Tails doll, and, if u read the sonic comic, Metal Scourge.

got em all the archie comics scourge is sonic evil self from a dark demonsion alternate to sonics (and for some Eggman runs a vet clinic no lie) the scar is from knuckles dad swinging at him and hitting him in the chest while i was healed when he got ahold of the master emerald which is why hes green?

yes, during the Moebian invasion of Knothole, the Supression Squad takes over Freedom HQ. the next day, Metal Sonic shows up looking for Sonic but this Metal is just basically an RC driven by Eggman and acts as Eggmans mic when he talks thru Metal. Metal Sonic attacks Scourge with the quote "Then again, why pass up on uppity hedgehog for another?" and soon after, Sonic shows up and the three tussle. in the middle of the fight, Metal Sonic gets backup in the form of a second Metal, painted green with a black and tan torso, Metal Scourge.

yes the original ones were very poorly made...and the second version where they fixed the white striping on the feet...were too flimsy...regardless i have both versions AND a new 3.75 inch Metal Sonic figure that comes with a Sonic figure and a comic...i think it may have been put on the shelves too early by accident because i havent seen anymore since i got mine

ah okay^ i agree on the flimsy part it's to top heavy but it looked cool

the problem is, Jazwares paints the components and then assembles the figures BEFORE the paint is done drying, and when u attempt to pose the figure, the paint acts like glue, making it likely that u'll break the figure

ah okay i don't know if i go ot the fixed version cuse mine is very possible but top heavy but it is to possible it seem a bit to loosely done

I have to say, I don't usually care for sonic art, but the unique perspective you used caught my eye.
I like all the details you put into the tread, and the little accents like the screen-lines in his eye.
