When wolfram defeats the king the order and destroys Xin's prison. Xin becomes free and becomes a little different. he has a sort of face, and a eye in the middle of his chest. this is known as his release form. a sort of powerful first stage of his freedom from his prison. he's able to use more powerful energy orbs, and create more powerful things with his unlimited power. when he's free his main goal is to exit his prison. and begin his next stage of his new found freedom. to be revived into his true form.
