Now I want to do that commission we discussed more than ever!

When Fuj and I were in japan, we were taken to a cold noddle restaurant... more like an eatery... outside under the trees.

You pay, get a small plastic colander with soba noodles and they take you to your table.... a big ROUND table with 5" plexi-glass walls around the outside and water insides with little jets. The water circulates from the little jets, everyone drops their noodles in the cold water, it all mixes and spins around and around... and when you wanna eat, dip your chopsticks in and collect some, dip it in your sauce and NOOOOOHHHHHMS!!!!!

You know it... I would >LOVE< to have a resturant like that.

You wouldn't have any picture of the place or be able to find some, I am now very curious about this.

Also, is it still Lo Mein in japan?

Don;t think so; Best of my knowledge "Lo Mein" is an Americanized Chinese dish. In this case it was 'Soba" or "Somen", I forget which.

And, sadly, no... no pics. But it was in the south in Kagoshima.... I think. (Wish I could remember)
