New and improved! After some thinking on the character, I realized that Frey actually fit really neatly into Starfinder canon (based on the Pathfinder table-top RPG), as a Ysoki Mechanic. With that as a starting point, I kitted her and Keri out as part of a band of space-borne scavengers, exploring abandoned space hulks and planetside ruins alike to find useful and/or valuable loot.
Frey herself is the best engineer on the crew, with a knack for both cracking into age-old mechanical systems and keeping starships running. Her small size is valuable when you need to get into the guts of a system too (or sneak through the ventilation shafts).
