Even though this character's likeness is pretty sui generis, his name is eerily similar to that of the reclusive, emotionally damaged neighbor kid from To Kill A Mockingbird, Arthur "Boo" Radley.

Coincidence? Or are there deeper motives here?

when I was coming up wih names I accually asked people to help me suss out a name for Boo, so the possibility that the name came out of someone and stuck with me is a strong possibility come to think about it to be honest
But I didn't realy think of any deep meaning to him

I always meant to read it, there are a list of books that6 normal school kids read that I never had a chance to in school for one reason or another...

I always meant to go back and seriously read what I missed in school.

Ohh... don't read things because you feel like you have to, though. Read things because you want to. People forget a lot these days that reading is supposed to be a leisure activity, something we do for fun that strengthens our imaginations and widens our perspectives, not some bland, mandatory exercise with the goal of forcing "the classics" into our noggins.

My point being: To Kill A Mockingbird is a good book. I liked it, and you might, too. But if you don't feel particularly inclined to read it, if you want to read something else instead, then by all means read something else.
