Originally devised as a method of "mechanical immortality" by combining Vulpine genetic science with Felid machinery, these autobodies actually caused great pain for the subject. Because many of the subjects used for conversion into Autobodies went insane from the pain, it was decided that the Autobodies would be used instead as war machines, with political prisoners and criminals punished with "conversion."
