So... This just started off as some kind of stylized betta fish ink drawing. Then I started to color it at the tail, laa tee daa, working along~

And then suddenly it became a peacockfish. OH GOODNESS. The odd texturing on it looks like horrible pixelation, but it's really due to some iridescent blue-green nailpolish I painted on in random patches... Oh, if only computer monitors could sparkle...
