I used to play pretend with my gradeschool friends that we were anthro Pokemon trainers too. But then I noticed something felt awkward about furries owning animal-like creatures XD. Not that there's anything evil about it, it just seemed strangely weird. That being said, you made a good shot at recreating those cool perspective angles of the trainers just before they send out their pokemon.
