Here's a pretty fun commission for 
Lockmar95 over at DA.
They wanted Fox McCloud and Krystal from Star Fox designed into Mobian form. They also gave a few details on how the clothes should look as well.
While designing them I couldn't figure out which version of Krystal's face I liked more, so I decided to post both XD

No offense, but these look pretty terrible but it’s not your fault. Personally I don’t think the detailed and complex designs of Star Fox characters translate well into the Mobian style whatsoever. Mainly due to the fact Sonic and his friends aren’t really furries but more like gremlins who resemble animals.
The “clothes are accessories” style also looks off. In my honest opinion, either an anthro character is naked or isn’t. It just seems unnatural and partly the reason why I don’t really like Sonic to begin with. The character designs of the series to me are off-putting and sorta crosses the uncanny valley. Like almost Anthro but not exactly fully.
Either way, don’t take this as an offensive comment, I like your stuff. I just thought I would put my two cents in.

Luckily you're like literally the only person to be negative on it, while everyone else either liked it or the idea XD

Then again, your view was flawed from the get go since your mentality is "Star Fox" can NEVER work as a Mobian, therefore I will tear apart anything that tries.... plus you even admit you don't like Sonic for the reasons you don't like this art. Essentially you would have disliked and torn apart anything regardless of how good or bad the art was, just because you dislike the "idea" more then the execution.

It's just that you're the equivalent of a vegetarian saying how much you hate a new burger because you can't stand eating meat. It's like... why even bother interacting with it at all?
