Figures are colored pencil, gel pen, and micron on bristol board, background is magazine clippings, india ink, pigment ink, opaque white ink, and iridescent medium sealed with gloss medium.
Full image is 14 x 10 and got cut off n mangled by the scanner. Original will be up for viewing @ the AC2010 Artshow.

The shading is just wicked and cutting that one out must have taken a while I imagine =)
Micron for the black lines I presume and I can definitely spot them in the dane's black spots - but where the hell did you use the gel pens? I feel like a dimwit not to see my arch enemy when it comes to pens.

Matt gel pens were used on the blue/red portions of their clothes, silver for the triangles on Huskie's bodice and the dane's collar, bronze gel pen for the dane's leash.
The rest of the color is colored pencil.

Meh.. of course. I should have seen that by how well the red and blue areas cover the texture of the paper. Thanks for pointing that out. Nice detail that you kept the texture on the leash tho. All the more leathery.

I love the Harl! Lava and Rumpus were my favorite part of the early videos. RIP Rumpus. There needs to be more Dane art, especially harlequin, mantle and brindle. The rest of the picture is great too, but we are active in dog sports with Danes so that's what caught my eye.
