This is a very old rhyme that I wrote in Bulgarian about.... 7-8 years ago or so. Only recently I dug it out of somewhere and one day the weird thought of translating it into English came to my mind. Although I mostly write rhymes in English, I had never done such a thing before, so it was a challenge somehow.
Two interesting issues came out of this: first, it feels like the English version is better than the original, to me at least; second, the fact I was trying to recreate an existing rhyme made me use a much more complicated language and line of thoughts than usual. I don't know if it really works so well, but I for one rather like it.

As for the rhyme itself, it's a random piece. There is a trace of fantasy in it, but there is no real story behind it.
