Colour version of "White Bear, Black Dog".12x9 acrylic on clayboard. Wow, that was fun. I'd never painting on clay board before but it was a really interesting surface. Must do more.

I would imagine clayboard really sucks in the pigment, makes it harder to blend unless you're using oils. Looks outstanding though!

Actually it doesn't suck up paint at all, actually it tends to stay wet and workable (and thus easier to pick up the paint if you're not careful) than illustration board.
