We're back! The preview image now celebrates both Tails and Fera across the series history. That may seem like an odd combo, but indeed, they are gonna be a team for this story. It's less strange when you remember that Fera played the Avatar during the Sonic Forces story, "Infinite Crisis."

Each hero will have their own "sidekick" during this story. Except Sonic, oddly enough. There are 7 main heroes, including Sonic. If you know how huge my cast list is, you might understand the decision to focus on 13 main protagonists. (Plus Lucky, to a degree, but he's just popping up semi at random)


So, we improbably team up Fera and Tails here. We also have Shadow and Kosmo turn up, because I want the storylines to overlap at points. Everything may seem pretty busy and lore-heavy and well... that isn't gonna stop, honestly. I gotta wrap up a story that will be 15 years old by the time the last chapter drops... There will be character-heavy chapters.

Here I introduce the remaining experiments, with Experiment 20 being the one that hasn't appeared in anything prior. It is a being of pure creation energy, of pure "GeneX", and if I don't figure out a very important role for it by the end of this... I won't be surprised but I'll be disappointed. I'll say up-front, it's hard to find things for a lot of the experiments to do, especially the newer ones. But I made good on my crazy goal of 20 of them, even if a couple were copouts like Chet & Emily.




Chapter 3 will be uploaded on a SATURDAY; September 26th; the 14th Anniversary of the Sonic GeneX series! My only other plan to celebrate is just a minor thing with my bro in Animal Crossing where I'll have custom costumes of Copter & Punchy available, but I won't be making those available online. Maybe I'll share the dream code here, though...why am I talking about Animal Crossing here? o.O
