Gustave has always been a smart fellow. He might be short, but his insight is quite impressive. Since his youth, he always worked as a private detective, first inspecting and investigating little crimes such as robberies, he quickly stepped up and tried to catch the big fishes by himself.

Always working in solo and in shadows, he managed to expose multiple gangs and sent to jail most of their leaders. Either by infiltrating the different networks or spying on their members, he almost never found himself in big troubles. He was so efficient no one ever knew of his achievements, not even the one in charge of the case!

But one beautiful day of summer, his identity was revealed. Not by the police finally figuring out who was doing their job, but by a powerful gang. Forced to daylight, he joined the police's investigation department and got instantly promoted to lead detective.

It won't ever be like the old days, but it was way safer and he still enjoys solving mysteries, as tiny as they can be.
