I don't remember much of the show, but I seem to recall Emma Peel had the remarkable ability NOT to react with feminine panic to strange situations as was popular at the time. For example, in a "House that Jack Built" scenario, a spear flies through the air and sticks in the wall inches from Mrs. Peel's nose. Her reaction was like: "Oh... Where did that come from?"
