Duncan "Decoy" Buizel, sitting alongside our downtown canal discovers the water is inhabited by goldfish, no doubt released over time by folks who live in the many condos beside it. I imagine many fish won at the state fair now have a new life in our canal, it's full of them.
Indianapolis's downtown canal, the fish in it, in fact the very spot in which Duncan is sitting are all very real. We also happen to be fans of "Red Dwarf" so the similarity of this situation to a line in the theme is not entirely coincidental.
