I wanted to work on my lighting and brushwork with digital painting so I decided to do something in black and white. This is also the first time I did a painting on a single layer since I'm a layer whore. I'm actually quite happy with how it turned out (especially since this was the first full piece which was done with a single brush that I made) and I'll probably be doing more of this in the future. :3
