I can't use digital art so I had not used bases before, I'm stuck with traditional art.

I'd love to be able to color my art digitally, when coloring the original images I'm afraid of messing up the pic. ^^;

I miss when I had access to a copy machine so I could make copis to color, especially handy when I didn't have the character's color palette down just yet. Now I have to make new drawings each time I want to try different colors, or if I screw up the original.

I understand how that can be troublesome! I do very little traditional art since I'm still learning and practicing, but I enjoy it. I would love to be able to color them more too, but I am in the same boat. Too afraid I'll mess up the lines! But I really like your art! I'll have to go through your gallery when I get a chance to <3

Funny how coloring can take longer than drawing the pic for me the majority of the time.
I had just created a cute version of the demon Baphomet that I named Baphy, and she has white fur and feathers so is easier to color than the original. XD

And I agree! Coloring takes awhile, but it can be relaxing sometimes :)

I had to use google to find photos of goats to get Baphy's face and legs right. XD

Yup, especially colored pencils, copic markers are out of my price range so I have to use Crayola. XD

I don't blame you! I can't afford copic either, but they look soo pretty! But you can still get some very nice looking things with Crayola. :)

And I am sure Baphy looks amazing! ;3

Yup! One of my fave artists uses a lovely blend of copic and colored pencil. :D
